They were the first members of
Together We Stand Christian Church in Missouri City, Texas,
a "missionary outreach church" of Sugar Creek
Baptist. Dr. Cockerham and his wife served for more than four years
in this newly formed church. The church recognized Dr. Cockerham as one of the Church's first Elders.
In addition to Dr. Cockerham being an Ordained
Minister, his education consists of: Doctor of
Psychology, Doctor of Divinity, Certified Anger Management Therapist, a
Certified Emotional Freedom Techniques
Practitioner
and a Divine Healing Technician, trained by the John G.
Lake Divine Healing Institute.
He was featured on Fox News,
concerning a divine healing. He is passionate about
seeing the Body of Christ whole and healthy in order
to do ministry with excellence.
Additional studies
include: Peacemaker Training I, II, and III
(A Biblical Guide to Resolving Personal Conflict);
Quantum Techniques: “Bringing Healing out of
Chaos" and "The Healing Codes."
Developmental Works include:
"Be Set Free NOW" Series of Workshops, the
“12-Month Mentoring Program” and the “Transformation Codes for Freedom.”
He is the
former Department Dean in the Christian Counseling
Education Department at The International Christian
Institute and Graduate School in Houston, Texas. He
served as President of The International Institute
for Christian Counselor Training, a division of
Messiah Method Ministries, Inc., before establishing
the American Institute for Christian Education
and the
Christian Institute for Counselor Certification,
Inc. a non-profit organization under the
IRS Code 501 (c) (3),
the Certification Entity of
the ministry.
He developed the "Emotional Freedom
Through Christ" one-day workshop to
facilitate biblical principles that bring about
freedom through Christ from additions.
There is no other biblical program of this magnitude
to "Set the Captives Free." This 1-Day Workshop is
available to
any church by request.
Dr. Cockerham has been a
“special speaker" at Workshops, Retreats, Church
Banquets, & Conferences.
