Degree Plan Steps 1,2,3 for completion of the 25 Week Degree in Bachelors of Ministry, majoring in Christian Counseling.
Steps to the 25 Week Degree
All classes only meet on Saturdays from 9am to 12pm. Calendar Each and every week represents a Semester of College Course Work. This is an accelerated learning experience.
Students Transferring Accredited College Hours
Students may transfer in all previously earned college credit hours from other fully accredited colleges and universities. All transferred hours will be calculated as total hours completed and reflected into the student's final transcript. Transferring students should expressly understand that because of the degree requirements and academic program policy, the entire 25 week degree plan must be completed without exception. No pre-existing college hours will apply toward any part of the Bachelor's of Ministry degree. (Application Policy)
Step 1
Christian Counseling Board Certification (Weeks 1 - 8)
The student must successfully complete 8 weeks of the required Faith-based Christian Counseling Board Certified Training Program. Upon successful completion of Part 1, the student will receive their Board Certification in Faith-based Christian Counseling.
Transition Course work to enrollment. (Weeks 9 - 10)
The student upon successful completion of Transition Prerequisite Course Work, ( ELBBC 510-ELBBC411), will be fully enrolled into the Vision International University Network. The student, upon completion of all 10 weeks of prerequisite course work, will progress to the 15 week core major course work.
Completion of Degree (15 weeks)
Step 2 (Weeks 11-25)
Upon completion of all 10 week prerequisite course work, all students are unconditionally accepted as a Vision International University student for the completion of their accredited degree. The student is enrolled in the Bachelors of Ministry degree plan, majoring in Christian Counseling.
Step 3
Upon completion of the 15 week core courses, the student will have successfully completed the 25 week degree plan.
Step 4
Completion and Graduation
The students, upon successful completion of the 8 week Board Certification, 2 pre-requisite courses and the 15 core major courses, will have earned 120 hours. It should be expressly understood that all college credit hours will be applied upon completion of the final class. The student will then make application for graduation. The student's degree will be issued from Vision International University.
