Pastor Stanley experienced many challenges in his life, including being falsely imprisoned for seven years and being declared legally blind in 2003. While enduring these experiences he learned to totally depend on God to sustain and keep him in perfect peace. His desire is to ensure those in prison (physically and mentally) and blind (legally and spiritually) be delivered and set free from the stigma placed on them by society. Pastor Stanley has a passion for the homeless and quarterly ministers to the physical needs of the destitute in the City of Houston. Along with Grace Christian Fellowship Ministry, at sunrise each year on Easter Sunday, he minister to their needs in downtown Houston, TX. His heart-felt desire is to help the undesirables of the world, but desirable to Christ, by showing love, compassion, and mercy to their physical and spiritual needs. Pastor Stanley served in the U.S. Army for eight year. While in the Army, he pursued and obtained a degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland. He also attended Southwest Seminary and continues his spiritual education, growth, and development through the study of God’s word consistently. Pastor Stanley is presently pursing a degree in Biblical Counseling and Certification as a Christian Counseling with the State of Texas. Pastor Stanley is the motivational speaker for the Department of Blind Services (DBS) in Houston, Texas and regularly speaks at the University of Houston Eye Institute. Because of his determination to go beyond what doctors said regarding his eye sight, he was chosen as the spokesperson representing Houston at the National Federation for Blindness and American Federation for Blindness in Atlanta, Georgia. On October 18, 2006, Pastor Stanley, First Lady Johnetta, along with their daughter, Hannah, proved their commitment to God’s people and accepted the call to minister and pastor them through the teaching and preaching of God’s word. Because of God’s grace in their lives, they show forth that same grace (unmerited favor) toward His children.
